Osimhen’s pregnant partner escapes injury in three-vehicle crash in Istanbul

Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury following a three-vehicle road accident in Istanbul, Türkiye, Sport360NG reports. 

The 26-year-old model was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations because of her pregnancy but was discharged after doctors confirmed she was in good condition, Türkiye Today reported on Wednesday, citing the Demirören News Agency (DHA).

Accident Involved Two SUVs and a Commercial Vehicle

The crash occurred at approximately 3:10 pm on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.

According to DHA, Ladewig was driving an SUV when she entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle operated by a man identified as Paris T.

The impact reportedly caused her vehicle to veer out of control before crashing into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.

All three vehicles sustained damage in the incident. However, no injuries were reported among those involved in the collision.

Pregnant Model Discharged After Medical Checks

Following the accident, Ladewig visited a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical assessments, with particular attention given to her eight-month pregnancy.

She was subsequently discharged after undergoing the necessary examinations and was reported to be in good condition.

The precautionary hospital visit was prompted by concerns associated with her pregnancy following the road accident.

Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and regularly shares fashion and beauty-related content on social media, according to Türkiye Today.

Her partner, Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international striker who plays for Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray.

The forward is one of Nigeria’s leading footballers and has established himself as a prominent figure in Turkish football since joining the Istanbul-based club.
