Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Turkish champions Galatasaray, paving the way for a potential move to Istanbul that would see him tied to the club until June 2028.

According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen has given the green light for the switch, but the final hurdle lies in negotiations between Galatasaray and his current club, Napoli.

Galatasaray’s latest offer for the 25-year-old striker is believed to be €50 million, with an additional €5 million in performance-related bonuses. However, Napoli are holding out for a higher figure and have not yet accepted the bid.

Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal remain in the picture and are reportedly prepared to activate Osimhen’s €75 million release clause. Despite their financial muscle, the player has yet to accept terms with the Riyadh-based club.

Osimhen is said to favour a return to Galatasaray, where he reportedly enjoys a close connection with the club. However, Galatasaray must now meet Napoli’s asking price to complete the transfer.

As things stand, the deal hinges on whether the Turkish side can bridge the financial gap and convince Napoli to part ways with their star forward.
