Oliseh Urges Osimhen to Prioritise Premier League Move Amid Galatasaray Links
Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has advised Victor Osimhen to make a decisive move to the Premier League, warning the Napoli striker against a potential return to Turkish side Galatasaray.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Oliseh described Osimhen as being at a “delicate crossroad” in his career, stressing the urgency of securing a transfer to England’s top flight.
“Victor Osimhen is at a very delicate crossroad. He needs to find his way to the Premier League in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..” Oliseh wrote.
The warning comes amid growing speculation that Osimhen could be heading back to Galatasaray, where he previously impressed during a loan stint, scoring 26 goals and playing a pivotal role in the club’s Turkish Super Lig triumph.
However, Oliseh believes a switch to the Premier League would be a more strategic step for the 26-year-old, both for his personal development and international profile.
With age now becoming a consideration in transfer dealings, some Premier League clubs are reportedly hesitant to meet Napoli’s valuation, fearing the long-term return on investment. Market insiders suggest any further delay in securing a move to England could dampen Osimhen’s appeal to top-tier clubs.
Although still under contract with Napoli until 2026, Osimhen’s future appears uncertain. Italian reports indicate that new manager Antonio Conte does not see the Nigerian in his plans for the upcoming season and may even demote him to the youth team.
