Firmino Joins Al Sadd After Successful Spell at Al Ahli
Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino has sealed a transfer to Qatari club Al Sadd, marking the latest chapter in his decorated career.
Renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the move on Sunday with his trademark phrase: “Roberto Firmino to Al Sadd, here we go!”
Firmino’s switch comes shortly after helping Al Ahli clinch the Asian Champions League title, adding to his growing list of achievements since leaving Liverpool in 2023. The 32-year-old joined the Saudi outfit following a trophy-laden eight-year spell at Anfield, where he played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s Premier League and Champions League triumphs under Jürgen Klopp.
Now heading to the Qatar Stars League, Firmino is set to bring his trademark flair and experience to Al Sadd, one of the country’s most successful sides.
