Nottingham Forest’s Anderson Expected to Make England debut
Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson is poised to earn his first England cap when the Three Lions face Andorra in Saturday’s 2026 World Cup qualifier at Villa Park (17:00 BST), Sport360NG reports.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who received his maiden call-up from head coach Thomas Tuchel last month, is expected to slot into midfield alongside Arsenal pair Declan Rice and Eberechi Eze.
At the back, Dan Burn is tipped to partner Marc Guehi in central defence, with Reece James and teenager Myles Lewis-Skelly likely to start in the full-back roles.
Captain Harry Kane will lead the line, supported by Marcus Rashford and Noni Madueke operating from the flanks.
The full starting XI is set to be confirmed later, but team sources have indicated the anticipated line-up.
