COAS Shooters’ coach, Emeka Nnamani, has expressed confidence that his team can finish at the summit of the 2025 Ardova Handball Premier League, provided they maintain their current level of resilience and composure on the court, Sport360NG reports.

Speaking on Friday following his team’s 37-28 victory over Benue Buffaloes in the ongoing second phase of the league in Lagos, Nnamani praised the commitment and discipline of his young squad.

“We have won three matches and drawn one since the second phase began on Tuesday, and I am pleased with the effort my players are putting in every game,” Nnamani said. “They execute our tactical plans flawlessly, which has helped us secure second place on the table. We aim to improve with every match, and it is still possible to finish first. It will be challenging, but we are ready to give our all.”

Against the Buffaloes, COAS Shooters were dominant on both ends of the court, combining a potent attack with a resilient defense that limited their opponents’ scoring chances. Benue Buffaloes, despite their best efforts, struggled to convert opportunities, leaving them unable to keep pace with the Shooters’ performance.
