CAF confirms october 31 date for 2026 Super Cup
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the official date for the 2026 CAF Super Cup, Sport360NG reports.
In a statement issued on Thursday, CAF confirmed that the annual curtain-raiser will take place on October 31, 2026.
The CAF Super Cup is traditionally contested between the reigning champions of the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup. However, both competitions are still in their group stages, meaning the eventual participants for the 2026 edition have yet to be decided.
CAF added that information regarding the venue and host country for the Super Cup will be released at a later date.
