Eguavoen earns FIFA leadership diploma in boost for Nigerian football administration
Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation and former Super Eagles head coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has successfully completed a leadership programme organised by FIFA, earning a FIFA Leadership Diploma, Sport360NG reports.
Eguavoen was presented with the certificate at FIFA’s headquarters in Zurich, marking an important step in his professional development in football management and administration.
The leadership programme is designed to provide football administrators and technical officials with modern skills in leadership, governance and strategic management, with the objective of strengthening the global growth and organisation of the sport.
Eguavoen’s latest academic achievement is expected to contribute positively to technical planning and administrative efficiency within the Nigeria Football Federation as the federation continues its efforts to improve the structure and development of football across the country.
