Kevin Schade produced a commanding hat-trick as Brentford thrashed Bournemouth, leaving the visitors unable to halt a troubling run of Premier League form, Sport360NG reports.

The victory lifted the Bees to eighth in the table, while Bournemouth remained 15th, extending their winless streak to nine games across more than two months.

Schade set the tone early, opening the scoring in the seventh minute. The German forward outmuscled defender Bafode Diakite before curling a low effort past Bournemouth goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.

Brentford continued to dominate, and a series of misfortunes culminated in a bizarre second goal. Igor Thiago’s strike was partially blocked, and Diakite’s attempted clearance deflected off Petrovic and into his own net.

Bournemouth offered little attacking threat in the first half, aside from an early effort from Antoine Semenyo. The Cherries improved after the introduction of Evanilson, David Brooks, and Justin Kluivert at halftime, but Brentford remained in control. Schade struck again on the counter, finishing off a precise cross from Yehor Yarmoliuk to make it 3-0.

A late consolation came from Semenyo’s back-heeled finish, but Schade completed his hat-trick with a close-range header to seal a comprehensive 4-1 victory. Brentford have now defeated Bournemouth in their last five meetings across all competitions.

Brentford Analysis: Clinical and Energetic

Before Schade’s opener, Igor Thiago had already showcased Brentford’s attacking threat with two early surges past Bournemouth defenders. The Bees capitalized on a subdued first-half display from the visitors, dominating proceedings and creating multiple opportunities to extend their lead.

Kristoffer Ajer and Schade both came close to adding to the scoreline before halftime, while Yarmoliuk, Keane Lewis-Potter, and Mathias Jensen repeatedly exploited space behind the Bournemouth defense. Brentford’s final goal highlighted their tactical sharpness, with intelligent movement from substitutes Jordan Henderson and Mikkel Damsgaard complementing the team’s cohesive attacking play.

Bournemouth Analysis: Defensive Vulnerabilities Exposed

Bournemouth’s defensive fragilities were laid bare, a continuation of the struggles that have seen them concede heavily on the road this season. Central defenders Marcos Senesi and Diakite struggled against the pace and strength of Brentford’s forwards, while Alex Scott appeared uncomfortable in a defensive role that limited his natural attacking instincts.

Despite a stronger second half, with 18 of their 20 shots coming after halftime, Bournemouth were unable to overcome their defensive shortcomings. Kluivert’s effort that hit the woodwork symbolized a rare chance to regain momentum, but Brentford’s clinical finishing ensured the damage was already done.
