UCL: Bayern beat Real Madrid in seven-goal thriller to set up PSG semi-final clash
Bayern Munich booked their place in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals after emerging victorious from a dramatic seven-goal encounter against Real Madrid in their quarter-final second leg, Sport360NG reports.
The contest burst into life with five goals in a frenetic first half, delivering a spectacle befitting two European heavyweights. However, the intensity dipped after the interval as both sides adopted a more cautious, tactical approach in a bid to avoid costly mistakes.

With the tie seemingly heading for extra time, the momentum swung late in Bayern’s favour when Real Madrid substitute Eduardo Camavinga was dismissed for a second bookable offence after a foul on Harry Kane with just four minutes remaining.
Bayern capitalised almost immediately. Luis Diaz struck the decisive goal in the closing stages, combining neatly with Jamal Musiala before curling a deflected effort into the top corner to give the hosts the advantage.
Despite Real Madrid taking the lead on three separate occasions across the tie, Bayern responded each time, with Kane reaching a personal milestone of 50 goals for the season in the process.
The German side put the result beyond doubt in stoppage time when Michael Olise added a fourth goal on the night, sealing a 4-3 victory and a 6-4 aggregate triumph.
Bayern’s reward is a semi-final showdown with Paris Saint-Germain as they continue their pursuit of European glory.
