In the U18 final, it was a clean sweep for the West African nation as Ezechukwu Miracle stormed to victory with a time of 11.88 seconds. She was followed closely by Nwokwo Rosemary, who secured silver in 11.96 seconds, while Jegede Mariam completed the all-Nigerian podium by finishing third in 12.20 seconds.

Teammate Oyibo Success Oghene claimed silver with a time of 11.78 seconds. Côte d’Ivoire’s Lou Yonan edged into third place at 11.87 seconds, narrowly preventing another Nigerian clean sweep.

Adding to the medal haul, Nigeria also earned a bronze in the men’s U20 100m event, further underscoring the nation’s growing reputation as a sprint powerhouse in youth athletics.
