Troost-Ekong Hosts Charity Match in Lagos, Draws Super Eagles Stars and Celebrities

Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong led a star-studded lineup of footballers and entertainers on Sunday at the second edition of the Troost-Ekong Foundation Charity Match, held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.

Themed #PlayForPurpose, the event aimed to raise funds and support for disadvantaged children by harnessing the power of football to inspire social change.

A host of Nigerian football icons and popular celebrities participated in the game, drawing excitement from fans. Among the notable figures were Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Obafemi Martins, and Victor Boniface. The entertainment industry was also well represented, with appearances from comedian AY Makun, skitmaker Broda Shaggi, singer Mayorkun, rapper Odumodublvck, and Gilmore, among others.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also made an appearance, further highlighting the importance of the initiative and its growing influence.
