Barcelona concluded their preseason tour of Asia in emphatic fashion on Monday, cruising to a 5-0 victory over South Korea’s Daegu FC in a friendly match, Sport360NG reports.
The La Liga heavyweights put on a clinical attacking display, with goals from Gavi (21′, 45+2′), Robert Lewandowski (27′), Álex Fernández (54′), and Marcus Rashford (65′) sealing the comprehensive win.
Gavi broke the deadlock midway through the first half, and Lewandowski quickly followed up with a second to put the visitors in control. The 19-year-old midfielder struck again in stoppage time to complete his brace, sending Barcelona into the break with a commanding lead.
Fernández added a fourth shortly after the interval, and Rashford rounded off the scoring in the 65th minute, wrapping up a dominant performance from Xavi’s side to end their tour on a high note.
