Tottenham step up pursuit of Roberto De Zerbi following Tudor exit
Tottenham Hotspur have intensified their efforts to appoint Roberto De Zerbi as head coach after the departure of Igor Tudor, in the latest development of a turbulent season for the North London club, Sport360NG reports.
Tudor’s spell in charge lasted just 44 days, coming to an end on March 29, 2026, after a string of disappointing results left Spurs hovering dangerously close to the Premier League relegation zone. Mounting pressure from both supporters and the club’s hierarchy ultimately led to his exit.
Reports from Sky Italia indicate that De Zerbi is now open to taking over immediately, having previously been linked with a move in the summer. The Italian has been without a managerial role since leaving Olympique de Marseille in February.
There is growing optimism within Tottenham that De Zerbi can be convinced to assume control before the end of the current campaign, as the club looks to restore stability and introduce a clear tactical direction during a challenging period.
