Ramadan: Amadu distributes relief materials to vulnerable households in Gusau/Tsafe
The Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, Kabiru Amadu, has rolled out a Ramadan relief programme for residents of the Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency, providing food supplies to support families facing economic hardship, Sport360NG reports.
The distribution exercise, held in observance of the holy month of Ramadan, reached widows, senior citizens, youths and community leaders across the constituency. Beneficiaries received essential food items packaged to help ease the burden of rising living costs.

Speaking during the outreach, the lawmaker said the initiative underscores his commitment to responsive and people-focused representation. He described Ramadan as a season of reflection, compassion and shared sacrifice, stressing that elected officials must demonstrate practical support for their constituents, particularly in challenging times.
Amadu further reaffirmed his dedication to advancing youth empowerment, sports development and grassroots programmes aimed at improving socio-economic conditions in the constituency.
The Ramadan intervention is part of a broader series of social welfare efforts championed by the lawmaker to promote community solidarity and provide relief to vulnerable residents.
