Saudi Clubs show interest in Tottenham’s Son
Three clubs from the Saudi Pro League – Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, and Al-Qadsiah – have shown strong interest in signing Son Heung-min from Tottenham Hotspur. The South Korean forward, who turns 33 next month, has just one year remaining on his contract. All three clubs are reportedly ready to offer around £34 million to secure his signature.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are exploring attacking reinforcements and could pursue Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton and Cody Gakpo of Liverpool if their attempts to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao fall through. Williams, 22, remains their primary target, but contingency plans are in place should that deal stall.
United Extend Heaton Stay, Transfer Moves Across Europe Pick Up Pace
Manchester United have agreed a one-year contract extension with veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton, keeping the 39-year-old at Old Trafford for another season.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth’s Max Aarons is attracting interest from Rangers, who are keen on bringing in the 25-year-old right-back. Bournemouth would reportedly prefer a permanent transfer over a loan deal.
Chelsea’s Zak Sturge, 21, is close to sealing a permanent move to Millwall following a successful loan spell, while Trabzonspor have identified Ipswich Town defender Axel Tuanzebe, 27, as a potential signing.
AC Milan are in talks with representatives of Granit Xhaka, currently at Bayer Leverkusen, as they explore midfield options. Napoli, on the other hand, are attempting to negotiate a deal for Jadon Sancho, who had a disappointing loan stint at Chelsea after falling out of favour at Manchester United.
Nottingham Forest are also active in the market, with a keen eye on Colombian midfielder Richard Rios, who plays for Palmeiras and reportedly has a release clause of around £85 million. Meanwhile, both Leeds United and Aston Villa are monitoring Habib Diarra of Strasbourg, a highly rated 21-year-old from Senegal.
