Fulham have completed the signing of Norway international winger Oscar Bobb from Manchester City in a deal worth £27 million, Sport360NG reports.

The 22-year-old has penned a five-and-a-half-year contract at Craven Cottage and will wear the number 14 shirt as he begins a new chapter in west London.

Speaking after the move was confirmed, Bobb expressed his excitement at joining Marco Silva’s side, describing the decision as a straightforward one after discussions with key figures at the club.

“It feels great to be here,” Bobb said. “I had a really good day meeting everyone and I’m very excited. I spoke to Sander [Berge], who’s a good friend, and also with the manager. He explained the system, the players and the club, and it all felt right.”

Bobb joins Fulham after progressing through Manchester City’s academy and making 47 senior appearances for the Premier League champions. During that time, he scored three goals and provided four assists across all competitions.

City are understood to have protected their long-term interests in the deal, retaining a 20 per cent sell-on clause as well as matching rights on any future offers Fulham may receive for the winger. The reigning champions exercised a similar clause earlier this summer when they re-signed goalkeeper James Trafford following interest from Newcastle United.

Bobb’s opportunities at the Etihad had become limited following the January arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, with Pep Guardiola acknowledging uncertainty over the player’s future earlier this month.

“I know there are rumours and talks,” Guardiola said after City’s recent win over Wolves. When asked if Bobb wanted to leave, the City manager replied: “I think so.”

The winger made 15 appearances for City this season but failed to score, with his last outing coming in December’s Carabao Cup tie against Brentford, where he was forced off early through injury. He had also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund.

Despite his setbacks at club level, Bobb has remained a key figure for Norway, earning six caps this year and playing a role in their qualification for this summer’s World Cup. His arrival at Fulham reunites him with international team-mate Sander Berge.

Fulham, who sit seventh in the Premier League after winning six of their last seven matches under Silva, will hope Bobb can add further attacking quality as they push for European qualification. The winger is also looking to put injury frustrations behind him after missing most of last season due to a leg fracture sustained in training in August 2024.
