CNS spikers rally past customs to claim men’s crown as customs sweep women’s title
Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Spikers produced a spirited comeback to defeat Nigeria Customs Service 3–1 and secure the men’s title at the 2025 Nigeria Volleyball Super Cup League, Sport360NG reports.
After dropping the opening set 21–25, CNS Spikers took control of the contest, winning the next three sets 25–18, 25–23 and 25–17 to seal the championship in emphatic fashion.
The women’s final, however, told a different story as Nigeria Customs Service dominated from start to finish, brushing aside COAS Spikers in straight sets. Customs recorded a convincing 3–0 victory, cruising through the match with scores of 25–8, 25–15 and 25–10 to lift the women’s Super Cup trophy.
The results brought the 2025 Super Cup to an exciting close, with CNS Spikers asserting their strength in the men’s category, while Nigeria Customs Service reinforced their authority in the women’s game. The women’s triumph further underlined Customs’ status as champions of the 2025 CGC Volleyball Premier League.
