Fulham Break Transfer Record to Land Shakhtar Winger Kevin

Fulham have sealed the signing of Brazilian winger Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk in a club-record deal worth £34.6m, The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Craven Cottage, with the option for an additional year, Sport360NG reports.

Delighted with the move, Kevin said: “I’m happy to join the biggest league in the world and a massive club. This is a very special moment in my life, and I hope to score plenty of goals and make a big impact for Fulham this season.”

Kevin scored 17 goals in 57 appearances across all competitions for the Ukrainian champions and becomes the second wide player to join Fulham on deadline day.

Chukwueze Joins on Loan from AC Milan

Earlier on Monday evening, the Cottagers also confirmed the arrival of Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan.

The 26-year-old winger, who netted eight times in 70 appearances for the Rossoneri, previously spent five seasons with Villarreal, featuring in over 200 games. He missed the 2021 Europa League final triumph against Manchester United through injury.

Chukwueze said: “I’m so happy to be here. It already feels like home because I have my people around me. I can’t wait to get started.”

George Deal Collapses Late On

Fulham had also agreed a £22m deal with Chelsea for forward Tyrique George, but the move fell through late in the window.

George was being lined up as a replacement option in case Leeds United made an irresistible offer for Wales winger Harry Wilson. However, with Wilson staying put, Fulham opted not to push ahead with the transfer.
