AFCON: CAF appoints Dahane Beida to officiate super eagles’ AFCON 2025 clash with Tanzania
The Confederation of African Football has named Mauritanian referee Dahane Beida as the match official for Nigeria’s Group encounter against Tanzania at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Sport360NG reports.
Beida will take charge of Tuesday’s fixture between the Super Eagles and the Taifa Stars, a key group-stage contest expected to play a significant role in shaping qualification prospects.
Regarded as one of CAF’s most experienced referees, Beida has overseen several high-profile matches on the continent and has officiated at previous Africa Cup of Nations tournaments as well as FIFA competitions.
Nigeria will be targeting a positive outcome against Tanzania as they continue their push for continental success at the finals in Morocco.
