Final dates confirmed for 2025/26 CAF confederation cup final

The Confederation of African Football has announced the dates for the final of the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup, despite the competition still being in the group stage.

According to CAF’s official 2026 calendar, the final will be contested over two legs. The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, while the return leg will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

CAF’s early confirmation of the final dates forms part of its long-term planning strategy, designed to streamline scheduling for participating clubs, national associations, broadcasters and other key stakeholders across the continent.

Meanwhile, the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup continues at the group stage, with teams from across Africa competing for places in the knockout rounds as they pursue continental success.
