Liverpool Confirm New Squad Numbers Ahead of 2025/26 Campaign

Liverpool have unveiled their updated squad numbers for the upcoming 2025/26 season, with new arrivals and internal changes reshaping the roster, Sport360NG reports.

Among the notable updates is Florian Wirtz, who takes on the iconic No. 7 shirt, recently vacated following Luis Díaz’s move to Bayern Munich earlier this week. New defensive signing Milos Kerkez will wear the No. 6 jersey.

The club announced the full list in an official statement on Friday, highlighting changes for both new signings and current squad members.

“Seven new players have now been allocated their numbers,” the club said, “while Conor Bradley and Trey Nyoni have also opted for new shirts.”

Jeremie Frimpong, arriving from Bayer Leverkusen, retains the No. 30 he wore in Germany. Forward Hugo Ekitike takes No. 22, while new goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been handed the No. 25 shirt. Fellow goalkeepers Freddie Woodman and Armin Pecsi will wear No. 28 and No. 41 respectively.

Young right-back Conor Bradley has swapped his former No. 84 for No. 12, while midfielder Trey Nyoni moves from No. 98 to No. 42.
